I began my formal physical therapy education at the University of St. Augustine in South Austin, which placed a heavy emphasis on Manual Therapy Techniques. To further my knowledge and receive the highest certification for physical therapists, I completed the Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship through the Manual Therapy Institute in May 2021.
My favorite part about being a physical therapist is connecting with and educating patients. I enjoy individualizing my treatment approach to each patient. I also love teaching, and firmly believe that patients get better when they understand what we are trying to accomplish in PT and how to apply those concepts in their daily activities. Outside of the clinic I enjoy spending time with my family: my husband Luke, our son Owen, and our dog Tika.
